ElectroHemp Organic Remediation: How is this helping our StLouis Neighbors?

ElectroHemp Organic Remediation: How is this helping our StLouis Neighbors? While working on a Startup Business http:electrohemp.org that will save lives in the St Louis Region. I approached a Startup Group who works in a well known St Louis College. They are interested in the ‪#‎biotech‬‪#‎cleantech‬, and ‪#‎Agriculture‬ inventions the Team has developed and developing.

The "ElectroHemp's" Teams goals: are to save lives and help our immediate community by improving the quality of life for those affected by the Nuclear Waste that is illegally buried at ‪#‎WestlakeLandfill‬ and the ‪#‎ColdwaterCreek‬areas of the Region.
The team has figured out how to cycle the toxins from the ground faster than has been previously done with a Natural System. And then dispose of these toxins which are made inert ie: "non hazardous". This process is accomplished by using natural and organic resources.

At first, I was thrilled to get the offer for assistance. Until I read the fine print on the cost of their "so-called" help: 5-10 times the original investment to be paid back in 5 years.
Believe me I emailed back: "I understand that everyone needs to make money, did I catch that right and you guys wanted a, ROI x 5 in 5? The Country Boy in me wants to dicker a lil here and point out:
"We are helping our Neighbors in the St Louis Region" And possibly saving our friends, family, and selves from being infected by cancer causing nuclear radiation. A ROI x 2 or 3 in 5 would make the spreadsheet tolerable. Even if its Grant money the biz gets to operate on. That Grant money came from Tax Dollars< Our Money.""
ROI x5 to help our Neighbors. What kind of help is that? Who are they really trying to help?

Legislation Pertaining to CBD Oil Heard in Committee

Sen. Keaveny presenting Senate Bill 822 to a Senate Committee.

In late February I presented Senate Bill 822 to the Senate Veterans’ Affairs and Health Committee, which would expand the number of medical ailments that can be treated with Cannabidiol (CBD) oil in Missouri.

This legislation will help thousands of people across our state who battle against the symptoms of their illnesses daily. I am hopeful this legislation will make its way to the governor’s desk.

Senate Bill 822 would allow people with cancer, HIV, AIDS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord damage, inflammatory bowel disease, neuropathies, Huntington’s disease, post-traumatic stress disorder, or certain specified symptoms or complications associated with the conditions listed above, to have access to CBD oil. The oil must be recommended by a neurologist or physician. The Department of Health and Senior Services would establish a public registry of physicians and neurologists who recommend hemp extract for their patient’s use.

Missouri has the potential to expand an industry that will create hundreds of jobs. CBD oil has been shown to reduce nausea and vomiting, suppress seizure activity, and combat inflammatory disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, tumor and cancer cells, and anxiety and depression disorders. Research has shown that CBD inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells, and has found that CBD can be used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune diseases, nausea, bowl disorders and diabetes.”

MOhemp Energy: Kenaf Lignin Removal Invention Test Plants

MOhemp Energy: Kenaf Lignin Removal Invention Test Plants

Mar 2, 2016  Kenaf Plants growth progress gif image created with Google Picasa.

Notes:
  1. Cardboard cylinder is a toilet paper roll center that is used to hold the plants upright.  The plants are not exactly growing in optimum conditions in the widow sill.  The stems of the plants do not get the wind that is needed to strengthen the plant stem and the weight of the leaves bends the stems over.
  2. A quarter was used for size reference early in the plants growth.

  3. The Red Colored lights are not from a Red Grow Light, this was caused by a camera setting in a few photos.
  4. I planted 6 seeds- 5 sprouted.  I killed 1 attempting to help it rid the seed pod.  I ripped the tender leaves and that plant never recovered and died.  (Don't love your plants to death- Paul Allen
  5. The majority of the photos are taken in the AM when I am getting a cup of coffee to start the day.
  6. This is also when I turn the supplemental lighting on.
  7. Supplemental lighting is generally left on a minimum of 12 hours a day, 7 am to 7 pm.
  8. The Grand-kids are marveling at how fast the Kenaf Plants grow (and so am I).  I told the middle child that they will eventually grow taller than us.  They could grow up-to 15 feet tall, which is 4 times as tall as you right now. (Note to self: she doesn't know how tall 15 feet is.  I have to do a better job of comparison)
  9. She also asked, "if we are going to eat these plants?"  I replied, "I don't know I guess we could, I've heard of other people eating Kenaf plants.  And read that Kenaf Growers feed the plants to their farm animals."
  10. Occasionally, as the Temperature warms the plant tray is taken outside and placed on the Patio so the plants get Natural Sunlight.  I hope to also strengthen the stems by doing this with the natural breeze.
  11. I am planning on re-potting the plant starts into bigger pots soon.

MOhemp converts toxic Rads to Clean Energy

Last night while participating in the #STLChat about the Nuclear Contamination of the Westlake Landfill was just the break I needed.

The time spent not absorbed on the green remediation plan allowed my mind to put the remaining pieces of the 5 Stage Phytoremediation project in place.

The end goal has always been to create clean energy from the Biomass resources.  Which under normal circumstances could be done fairly easily.

With the addition of adding Electrokinetics which increases both the heavy metal movement in the soil and phytoremediation of heavy metal uptake in the plants was going to eliminate any Biomass end use due to the advanced heavy metal absorption within the plant.

That had previously left me in a quandary.  I wasn't for sure on what to do with all the toxic plant matter - burning it for fuel was not an option, as it would have once again turned the nuclear radiation airborne.

Through hours of research, a few hints from the University of Missouri, and believe it or not a kids science fair project- sparked the idea which aligned the final end use of the phytoremediation plants and allows MOhemp to turn these toxic nuclear radiation molecules into a clean energy source of electricity!

This process also renders the Nuclear Toxins inert and non toxic!
