The “Social” will feature surprise guests of honor sharing new and classic creative content featuring fun and educational messaging about How #HempCANSaveThePlanet including but not limited to, subtitled excerpts from Jack Herer’s Emperor Wears No Clothes short documentary, co-directed by Jack Herer & Melissa Balin in 2009, being read off the screen live by audience members like a giant teleprompter in celebration of the 10 Year Anniversary of its Premiere and Academy Award Consideration Campaign at Laemmle Theatres.

This year’s Guests of Honor will include living icons and activists Richard Eastman, co-founder of the First California Cannabis Buyers’ Clubs and co-author of SB420; Roger Christie, founder of The Hawaii Cannabis Ministry & Cannabis Minister Share Christie; educator Jamal Ross; Federal Pawriah Reverend Eddy Lepp & his wife Reverend Heidi Lepp, and surprize guests. Strategic Media Partners include: Laemmle Theatres, Hanf Journal, ExzessivTV, Spliff Journal, Spliff TV, Skunk Magazine, SkunkTV and Hemp Can Save The Planet.

WHY: Over the past eight years of the #ItsNotAprilFoolsThatHempCanSaveThePlanet “TweetAThon”, over seven thousand #HempCanSaveThePlanet fun and educational posts have been shared worldwide across various social media platforms in a continuing and accessible archive to destigmatize the cultivation of Cannabis Sativa L also known as “Cannabis Hemp Marijuana”.

Hemp history will be made with a continuing way to discuss sustainable solutions throughout the world, encouraging survival of the planet through renewable natural resources, specifically, Cannabis Hemp, as a solution for fuel, fiber, paper, protein, nutrition and medicine; as well as the phytoremediation of toxic air, water, and soil in contaminated areas of various industrial pollutants of alarming concern that no one seems to want to take responsibility for cleaning up, yet are affecting the worlds' food and water supplies. It is important for Cannabis Hemp to be implemented wherever it is not prohibited, and wherever it is already growing, it must be protected from eradication and its production and usage expanded.
